Yacht Charter Prices, Terms & Conditions - Absolute Yachting

Yacht Charter Prices

 

1) Yachts Charter Prices include:

* The yacht hire
* Yacht and passengers' insurance
* Crew and crew's food
* (Greek vessels also cover public marina expenses while yachts in other areas might not)

2) Yacht Charter Prices do not include:


* VAT, (Value added Tax) where is applicable. In some countries such Greece, Spain, Italy etc, there is a tax applicable and varies from country to country. The tax is usually on top of the total charter fee.
Also the charter prices do not include the RUNNING EXPENSES of the cruise such:
* Food and drinks for the guests.
* Fuel consumption for the yacht , and gasoline for the tender and the water toys (unless is otherwise stated in the offer)
* Communication expenses and canal fees -if any-.
* Private marina fees.
* Local taxes and agents' expenses if the yacht is in foreign waters, in a country other than her home country thus, when applicable-.
* Crew's tips (customary at the clients' discretion).

A.P.A. EXPLANATION:
All the running expenses (fuel, food, bar, dockage when applicable) are paid in advance in the form of an Advance Provisioning Allowance amount (A.P.A). This sum is estimated at the 25-30% of the total charter fee. The captain keeps all the receipts of the expenses during the cruise and at the end of the charter he will do the final financial settlement with the charterers. If during the charter the costs are beyond the APA given prior to the charter, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. This amount has to be cleared before the end of the cruise. If there is any remaining credit from the A.P.A given prior to the cruise, the charterer will receive remaining balance before disembarkation.

 

3) Booking and Payment terms:

 

* 50% of the total charter amount with the booking of the cruise and due upon the signing of the Agreement.
* The remaining 50% together with the corresponding VAT ( if applicable ) & the A.P.A amount for the running expenses , are due 30 days before the charter s starting date.
* For a last minute booking the total cost of the charter, together with the corresponding VAT ( if applicable) and the A.P.A amount have to be paid in one installment in order to secure the charter.
