8 days charter / SARONIC GULF AND PELOPONISSOS

Day 1 -- Athens to Aegina ( 16 nm )
Aegina is the largest island of the Saronic group of Islands. She has nice calm beaches, villages that offer night life, shopping, site seeing.

She is not far from the Piraeus port and she has a history background. Perdika, Agia Marina, Moni, are places worth to visit, and enjoy nice fresh fish
meals.


Day 2 -- Aegina - Epidauros ( 10 nm )
The ancient theatre of Epidavros is located across from the island of Aegina. The theatre operates every summer and during the annual
festival people enjoy ancient tragedies by Evripides, Aischulus, etc.
The theatre was built in the 4th century BC and was dedicated to Dionysos. It was burried underground when in 1971 archaeologists began
their digs. And today, is an elegant theatre with stone seats, and receive thousands of tourists every year.

The port of Epidavros is a very friendly port, with traditional tavernas and tourist's shops.

Day 3 -- Epidauvros –Poros Island ( 20 nm )
Poros is a green island with beautiful coast lines. At the center of the town is worth visiting the Archaeological museum and the island’s
trademark the "clock-tower".

Do visit the famous lemon forest which stands opposite on the coast of the Peloponnese and the temple of Poseidon
In the port of the island there are numerous cafeterias, restaurants and tourists shops.

Day 4 -- Poros – Spetses island ( 27 nm )


Spetses is a beautiful island that is very unique. The capital of the island is a real architectural beauty with neoclassical houses and many
narrow stone paved alleys. Spetses have been inhabited since Early Bronze Age.

This island played an important role in the Greek history. Many pictoresque views, shops, tavernas, cafeterias, great local meals.


Day 5 -- Spetses –Tolo-Nafplio ( 25 nm )

Nafplio in ancient times was considered the center of Greece. In the town, there are nice small alleys, great tourists shops, neoclassic houses, Turkish
fountains, the Consitution Square with numerous outdoor cafe shops... it is just marvellous.
The castle of PALAMIDI with the 857 steps up the hill is a place to visit. You can make all the steps or go around the mountain by
car and enter the castle. From the top of the mountain you can see the fantastic view of the whole city of Nafplion.
Acronafplia is a long walking street along the sea coast that you can take and relax and enjoy the view.


Day 6 -- Nafplio –Hydra island ( 47 nm )

It is one of the most popular and cosmopolitan points in Greece. The island receives thousands of Tourists every year, due to its
proximity to Athens and its uniqueness. The town of Hydra has a character of its own. Bars, clubs, cafeterias, shops...!
Cars are not allowed in the city of Hydra a small donkeys do all the job! Transport of passengers and luggages...!
Molos, Bisti, Ag. Nikolaos and Limioniza are great places for swimming.


Day 7 -- Hydra-Dokos-Ermioni ( 15 nm )

The name of Hermioni was given from the only daughter of Menelaus and Helen, who in order to carry out her father's promise towards Achilles got married to Neoptolemus. Hermioni is a quaint little Greek village. Being on a little bit of land jutting into the sea it is only 4 blocks wide at the largest part and about a mile to a mile and a half long. The lack of any thing resembling a sandy beach has saved it from the mass impact of tourism but that doesn't mean there is not great swimming there, or tourists. The swimming is great and there is a night life in this little town.


Day 8 -- Ermioni – Agistri ( 16 nm )

A small island in the Saronic Gulf which has nice clear blue cool waters, attractive coast sandy or pebbled beaches and beautiful green forest.

Its villages retain their traditional look and offer everything necessary for the most pleasant and comfortable vacation.


Day 9 -- Agistri-Athens ( 20 nm )

Athens, the capital of Greece brings you back to the Golden age of Greece when Acropolis or Parthenon was built. The city is built around the Acropolis and the pinnacled crag of Lycabettus. It is the city that proudly hosted the 2004 Olympic Games. There are many places to visit such: Plaka, Monastiraki, Syntagma, the ancient theatre of Herodio beneath the Acropolis, the archeological museum in the same area etc. There is a lot of action during the night in the centre of Athens, many luxury hotels, great restaurants and shops.
